About me

I work with individuals over the age of eighteen and with groups.

Bi-lingual and bi-cultural French and English, I welcome working with clients from all backgrounds. I can conduct therapy in French.

I bring warmth and empathy with an open minded attitude. I am grounded and I like to bring clarity to my work.

In collaboration with you, my aim is to help you gain insights into yourself so that you can grow your understanding of some aspects or patterns of behaviour that may not be serving you.

I offer a supportive and confidential environment in which you can focus on yourself and grow or change what is not working for you.

I bring my experience of multiculturalism, marriage, divorce, single parenthood, running a business for 35 years and breast cancer.
I bring my painting skills and an interest in spiritual development.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I studied Fine Art and Sociology at Reading University.

I am a graduate of Spectrum Training, a centre for Humanistic psychology.

I am trained as an art therapist by IATE (Institute for art in therapy and education).

As welI as working in private practice, I have worked in various settings such as the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medecine where I ran an Art therapy group for three years for people with a range of difficulties such as M.E, Fibromyalgia and terminal cancer.

I have worked with people with learning disabilitites at “the Gate”.

I work closely with Imperial NHS and I have been running a monthly support group for Bariatric and Metabolic patients since 2008 through the charity BOSPA www.bospauk.org

Further Information

Humanistic Psychotherapy focuses on helping you grow to your fullest potential by forming a better relationship with yourself, your environment and with others. I work with anyone who might be struggling in these areas.

I have developed, over the years, a particular knowledge of the difficulties of people with obesity and diabetes and the options available to them. I work with people  pre and post bariatric surgery, to address some of the issues that surgery cannot help with.
I also belong to the AHPB (the association for Humanistic psychology in Britain
