There are many reasons to seek a psychotherapist or counsellor - to overcome a current problem, or shed some light over longer-term issues - to seek answers or to find something more in life.
It does not matter how "big" or "small" a problem is and a person does not have to wait until they are in a crisis to benefit from seeing a therapist.
I practice humanistic counselling and psychotherapy, which is a way to explore ourselves and find our own answers, whatever our needs may be. Through this process, we can come to know ourselves, heal ourselves, be responsible for ourselves and others, develop our skills and give shape and value to our lives.
For some, counselling or psychotherapy can be a way to pause and take stock. For others, it can be a way to make a necessary transition in life, to grow and become more satisfied and fulfilled.
We are all unique individuals with our own memories, experiences and knowledge and I respond to the needs of each individual in my work, using a broad range of therapy models.
Areas that I work with, include:
Whatever your needs, counselling and psychotherapy may be an effective way for you to address many issues in your life.
