Areas of Interest

At some point in your life, you might find that some issue - like a sudden bereavement or a pending divorce seems too huge to cope with by yourself.

It could be that for a long time you have experienced an overall dissatisfaction with aspects of your life, and want to make changes.

However big an issue may be, or however small it may feel to you, there is great benefit in talking it through in a confidential environment with someone who is not in any way involved with the rest of your life.

I offer short-term help as well as long-term therapy.

At the same time as working on any particular issue that a client brings, I am interested in helping my clients shape and manage their lives, in order to feel more satisfied and contented.

Areas of particular interest to me:

  • Parenting issues - from under fives to teenagers
  • Divorce
  • Death and Dying
  • Bereavement
  • Sexual difficulties
  • Challenges of expatriate life

I bring a variety of life experiences:

I have lived in Tokyo and New York, as well as London.

I have worked in a variety of occupations, including as an actor, as a TEFL teacher, and currently as a funeral celebrant for non-religious funerals.

I have combined this with being a parent of 4 children, two of them now grown-up.

I have counselling experience with infertile couples, new parents, parents of under fives, and the bereaved.
